I dont know how many people feel the same but i feel manyata's character is becoming even more giri hui. the cv's need to redeem her and put her on the path to self improvement. but i guess for this happen she needs to break ties with some of her past. for this, first the weakest link...akaash needs to exit. the ''romance'' is boring nd i skip it. that doesnt mean she should forget murali baba that raised her.
anyway somepoints as why i am having real doubts about monaya as a character.
1. her baba raised her for 16 years, how can she just forget him like that. wow cvs beti ho toh asisi. i really felt for murali when he called out her name.
Also..does it not hurt her that her murali bab's wife and daughter was killed by her blood father. why dont we see her thinking about things.
2. is manyata an infatuated teen or plain dumb. the girl now KNOWS who her biological family is, but still she blatantly lies to them. is rude to them when she doesnt get her own selfish way. she'll also lie to them for who? for akaash. forget this family that has been in wait for her return for 16 years. Is their NO curiosity to learn something about her parents, her mum her dad,,her past. does she have NO interest in her own IDENTITY.
3. this chawl ki larki has no problems staying the night in akaashs home, going idhar udhar jahan mann kare. she's all set to keep runningto akaash and staying with him, but why. what is her actual rishta with him. hes not her husband. where is her self respect?
4. Jai jesi bi hai, she IS still monya's younger sister. their should be some farak between monyas harkatein and Jai's.
5. sala, kutta...this is the constant filth spewing from her mouth. i mean c'mon their should be some respect in their to make her for the role of 'heroine'
6. she's from the chawl does that mean she's open to making an idiot of herself doing shit dancing in middle of a party with her chamchi's.
7. she cant wait a few moments to have a meal with the family. fine. but does she know HOW to eat,,,rice all over her face.šŸ˜•
so have i missed any other key points off?? the cv's need to give monya's character some subtance. to me the better developed characters are actually udhay and Jai. akaash is a waste of space and screen time. they need to end that chapter of monyas life asap.

I totally agree with everything you have said so far. I was thinking that after coming to her real family she will still think about murari and ask Brijraj to forgive him. Even though he kidnapped her, he raised her for 16 years and treated her like a rajkumari. I feel her rudeness has now crossed its limits and CV's better do something about this Pataal (opposite of akaash) and Moniya romance before the show goes down the drains. It would make more sense if she kept running away to meet Murari than this sarta hua sambhar named akaash.🤢As far as her biological family is concerned, I think it's high time Moniya cooperated with them and tried to establish a bond with them. Fine she doesn't like Jaynandini, Brij, buasa and Vijay, but can't she at least try to bond with her mother and dadi sa? She can clearly witness their affection for her with her big eyes, but she is still hellbent on chipkofying to that so called machli named pataal (opposite of Akash).🤢

Awesome analysis both of you. šŸ‘āļøI completely agree with each and every word you wrote. All these sensible questions are popping up in our heads from time and I only wish they could be answered. The biggest "blooper" as I call it, is Manyata not remembering her dad, Murari. I mean even if he was a kidnapper, he friggen raised Manyata and treated her like his own daughter who has now become a selfish, stubborn, and aggressive jungli billi. It's just so unrealistic, the fact that she never remembers him but she remembers that chewing gum chipko Akash. Her character is being further damaged as its not being developed rightly. I did not see her even once trying to make even an inch of an effort to get to know her family who longed for her all these years. I mean 16 years is HELL lot of a time. She just does whatever comes to her brain regardless of the fact that its always childish. She is the protagonist and her character should be the most positive one. But, all we see her doing is plotting against J, fighting with her, getting punished, then lying to her family, dancing like a maniac on the party (even the most outgoing person would be nervous to be in such a big sophisticated party as that and Manyata and her friends were just so annoying that day), then running away, and then the process continues. The story is just beating around the same bush. the way chaal people are portrayed in this show is outrageous. They might be poor, but they have very high self-respect, and good morals. Its very unfair to them and rude at the same time. I see no difference between Jai and Manyata. They both grew up in two completely different environments yet they both are the same. They are equally stupid, stubborn, and annoying now. At, first there scenes were funny but now its getting too much. They both need to grow up. I always see Brij taunting Komal about the fact that she never raised Manyata which is why she is like that, but the fact is that Jai is just the same. Manyata is constantly swearing and showing no respect to her family what so ever. Now that she has accepted them as her family, then why not give them respect. She still calls Brij as coat per B lagane wale maharaj ji, and maat ji, and so on. The only character that I love is Uday's as his character has been very well written. His character has alot of depth and is someone whom we can relate to. All the people on this forum don't liek UV just because he is handsome, but also because his character and his dialogues, and scenes are worth a watch. This has to be the first show where the main lead doesn't get enough screen space. Overall, great analasis by the two of you, rabees and HessašŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘āļøāļø

So true... I also don't understand why the CVs are hell bent on showing her as a manner less girl. If someone was raised in a chawl, that doesn't mean that they don't have any sense of right or wrong. Being raised in a chawl doesn't mean you don't have proper eating habits. Even if you eat with your hands, there is a proper, neat way to do it. She could still eat with her hands and still show cleanliness.

Showing conviction and standing for something you believe in is one thing, but blatantly disrespecting your family in front of guests in a party dancing to Bhoot aaya...her self made Tapori dance... and she doesn't even realize that what she did was wrong or strange.

The CVs are showing that people raised in chawls are junglees... with no sense of right or wrong... and this is just absurd... the goodness of Monia's character needs to be emphasized more!

I agree with all your points! Seriously, it's over the top now. Manyata is the HEROINE of the show but her character represents something that no one can relate to.

Seriously, we understand CVs you are trying to show she's from a chawl..nd all but even the nokar's in India do not dress like her, let alone act like her.

UV's character is so powerful..nd in comparison to him..Manyata always remains behind. She was shown as a cute girl in the beginning, but now all we get to see is her ruthless drama, lies, loads of swearing and cunning plans.

I'd hate to watch such a great show go down the drain if CVs overdo Mounya's character.

Thanks for the replies.. im glad people agree with my points. i just feel monaya's current dialogues and actions are more cringeworthy and nonsensical then anything else. As pointed out, you cant relate to her whatsoever. you cant respect her
Also going off the articles it seems that it will just get worse instead of better. i for one cannot wait to see her fall flat on her faces with her scheming. thats not how the audience should feel about the leading lady.
is their a way of putting across these views to the cv's before monya becomes even more irritating and puts off viewers?????????????
