both my mom and i change the channel when Akash comes on screen

my mom just doesn't like his character. PERIOD. according to her he's a full on devdas and majnu and boring as HELL

i don't like him for all the above reasons but also because i feel nauseated when he comes on screen basically because CVs are HELL BENT on imposing Poor-Mr.Nice-Guy-Akash in love with the lead girl

their love doesn't seem natural from ANYWHERE its IMPOSED on us all and i feel sick just knowing that CVs can't even bring the love story out properly instead they are IMPOSING the darn thing at us DISGUSTING!!!

can you ppl sense my irritation at the stupidity of the CVs

i wouldn't mind it if they made Aakash a tragic character .. lost in the game of love but they can't even develop that well .. it seems too rusty the dialogues and actions... devdas kept you captivated because there was something interesting in that self-masochism BUT Aakash.. he's disappointing because he seems to be in love to just be in love.. I guess to better explain what i mean: it's like to be a lover, which they want to portray him as, there needs to be some key aspect that makes him desirable. everyone will always have themselves and their thoughts/loneliness...so it's okay that he became sad - but he has no faith or confidence in love or himself. He only needs to believe that he can give Manyata happiness with his love and his efforts/lifestyle & it is possible. Har waqt har manta hain .. it's just tiresome. Afterwards, he blames Soni & Chiki, all the time.
