Exactly!! I never said that Shakeel is the only one... This topic was opened about Shakeel so I was talking about him but I never said that he's the only one and others make quite vulgar jokes at times. I think in that sense Season 1 was somewhat better.

I am a Pakistani and at first i used to like shakeels comedy but then i started getting tired of it - his way of delivering his lines is good but yeah i agree with everyone who says that his jokes are stale and same, i remember he has also repeated his jokes from comedy circus season one thing. Even though he is the one everyone started commenting on archna and shruti and VIP is also pathetic with his same old mimickery crap but then again shakeel is like predictable now - everyone knows whats he going to say and all the performances are shakeel and urvashi taunting and fighting with each other while others do try to be different. But i feel that today (27th sept) Shakeel rocked i don't know why the guy didn't give him 5 points...

i think shakeel is the best comedian we have..
if u guys remember where he came w/ jassi ( mona singh )
n she laughed in middle n he quickly said a fantastic line
n seemed like part of act..
his way of saying anything in funny way
is just amazing..
yes he is performing little bad in last two shows of kante ki takkar
but hey.. everyone has bad/good days
i like the way he teased shruti which was ON SET
not scripted.. so that was really really gud..

shakeel was the best in 27th day episode 😉 before i also started hating shakeel for some while but he has again won my heart 😉 👏

i will agree that they are abusing shakeel by making him do so much
but the fact remains that he has been the most consistent performance for over TWO damn seasons now...

YOU CAN'T ARGUE on this point

he may be monotonous but he is also synonymous with Comedy Circus

How many times do I have to explain myself??? I have already said that I am not a fan of Rajesh and Rajiv AT ALL. I have also agreed that they make jokes that are disgusting. I have never said that Rajesh and Rajiv and others are just awesome. This topic was about Shakeel and that's why I mentioned how his jokes are disgusting at times and I never said that I loved RR's performance. You create a topic about their performance and you'll get my remarks there. By the way, All Caps is considered shouting on net and I don't find that very pleasing.

ya, his jokes sometimes seem monotonous but I think he is better than any other comedian on any reality show. I laughed the most on his jokes. Even if I remember some of his jokes, I smile even now.
If you think his jokes are cheap, what about others. They do gay acts and their jokes are not suited for family viewing(like VIP Swapnil/juhi, ali-kashif,...). I don't like krishna lahari at all. Whatever they do, I feel the same.
Even Shakeel's jokes on shruti are really hilarious

To each their own. I personally do not find Shakeel to be funny. As far as I'm concerned his comedy is too crass and has no appeal to educated viewers. My maid likes his comedy but my family and friends find him unrefined. His comedy has no innovation, imagination and creativity. His jokes AND his delivery are too colocial.

I think Krushna and Sudesh try to do new things each time. They succeed sometimes...other times not so much. However, they are creative. Swapnil is an amazing actor who is always endearing to the audience. He has pizazz and his delivery is impeccable. He exudes confidence and without fail manages to get the attention and interest of the audience.

What I'm trying to say is that there is no right or wrong answer regarding Shakeel...or any other comic. It's more a question of individual likes and dislikes. Not everyone likes the same thing...obviously Shakeel has a large fan following...but there is also a large group of viewers who can't stand him.

This diversity is what makes everything fun. If we all liked the same thing...life would be so boring.
