one person can never change the world but if there is a power of a team they can change many things.

Last I knew, we really haven't seen someone whom we can call "world leader". True, leaders impact the groups, counties, cities, states, or may country, to an extente, that they lead but not the whole world. They may leave some significant impact in one part or the other but seldom on the whole world.

I don't think it is possible to have a one single person who could be accepted as undisputed leader of the whole world due to religious, cultural and geographical differences that result in varying ideologies and desired results. Therefore, I don't think that any one person can change the world.

2 things come to mind on this topic...
one a poem that I read in school called "Paul Revere's ride"
its a long one but here's a small excerpt..
"So through the night rode Paul Revere;
And so through the night went his cry of alarm
To every Middlesex village and farm,---
A cry of defiance, and not of fear,
A voice in the darkness, a knock at the door,
And a word that shall echo for evermore!
For, borne on the night-wind of the Past,
Through all our history, to the last,
In the hour of darkness and peril and need,
The people will waken and listen to hear
The hurrying hoof-beats of that steed,
And the midnight message of Paul Revere"

And the 2nd thing is....
Dr. Suess's " Horton hears a who"

one real and one fiction but both prove the power of one!
