Oscar nominations: What change needed ?

The nominees for this year's Oscars have been revealed. Have the right candidates been chosen?

Atonement and Michael Clayton are among the films shortlisted for best film prize.😛

Other nominees include Daniel Day-Lewis, Johnny Depp and Cate Blanchett for movies There Will Be Blood, Sweeney Todd and I'm Not There.

However, there are concerns about the impact the ongoing US writers' strike will have on the format of the awards ceremony which is due to take place on 24 February in Los Angeles.
