If you are in love with a person who is marrying your friend, what will you do? This is not hypothetical actually happened with cousin I know, all I told him was go for love no matter what...😆 it wasn't that simple..cousin was obligated with things friend did for him and was in state of utter confusion... all I said was believe in destiny and do what you think is right for distant future.

Question is whether one should wish good luck to the lover/friend on marraige OR step up and become a dilwala to take the dulaniya way?

It totally depends on the third angle...If s/he loves you, why not...Someday or the other, your friend will sense it/find out anyway....If s/he loves your friend, Let them be happy yaar

Well, if the girl didn't love him back, then of course not. Just wish them luck and move on with your life.
But if she did love you back, I won't say elope because that is unfair to your friend. Tell your friend the truth then she can break the marriage or whatever. Eloping is not a good/wise way out.

leave her alone :) who needs confusion even before marrying, where there will be plenty after?? 😆😆😆

Go for it and let it be known and than wait for the decision she makes. Atleast you can live with yourself that you tried. If she does not love u back than nothing to worry. You can wish them best wishes for their new life together.

Hoping these adults are more mature to handle the let down. I would not even call it rejection. No friendship is lost over this IMHO.
