Off beat topic ... lets see the views here

Consider yourself as a person enforcing law and there are relatives/relatives who fancy braking law. In an tangy situation where your own loved one (relatives/relatives) broke law.

Is it right to support your loved one or be on other side and make sure rules/law are enforced to best of your ability?

Another hypothetical situation You as in

  1. Police officer have your bro commit a crime

Will you support him or convict him?

  1. You as a brother did something wrong for a reason

Would like bro in police's support or would like him to do his duty ?

Best is to inline your answers...

It wouldnt be an easy decision to make but I have no doubt that I would go with convicting my brother of the crime. I dont know if I could live with myself knowing that my brother commited a crime and by doing nothing about it, I supported him in the crime. I would rather just have him convicted, both for his own good and for the good of society. By sheltering him and protecting him, I would only be giving him confidence to commit more crimes. And at the end of the day, I dont know just how much respect I would have for a criminal even if he was my own brother. Also, think about this situation from another angle. Every criminal IS someone's brother, or son or father or loved one...does that mean every criminal ought to be sheltered or protected by his/her family for the crime he/she committed? As a victim, wouldnt you want the criminal convicted for his/her crime.

Absolutely 👏... Law is Law should be followed. On lighter note - "Kyo ki saas bhi kabhi bahu thi" following it "criminal bhi kabhi victim banega" toh justice toh banta hai.

Thanks Myth for digging this post from grave. 😊

Depends on the situation really what sort of crime felony or misdemeanor. I am sure a minor infraction can go unnoticed. Was it intentional or in error. An error can be forgiven or given a small slap on the wrist punishment. Did he hurt people - charge him but reduce the sentence a tad bit. Did he rape or kill someone then you seriously need to convict him. Then again did he kill a rapist or a serial killer then perhaps his crime did more good to society than law.

Did he find a way to get a million dollars transferred untraceably into an untraceable bank acct and has a fool proof plan to get away. Shut up and get in on it.
