The risk being that if something ever goes wrong, your friendship may never be the same again. So you have to weigh the risk and see if it is worth taking.

But I have a rule, dont date someone I dont know, dont date a friend. Basically that means when I am ready my friends and family will find a very good match. Till then work and study it is.
However, if there ever happens to be someone whom I really like...then I might consider.
Now a days People dating more than two at a time online n other methods,how many of you trust online dating? Dating Good or bad?
With dating more than one person it is a question of honesty. If you are two timing and lying then it is bad. However, if you are being honest and simply trying to find a right match I guess its ok.
I have not yet been able to form a good opinion about online relationships. I know a couple who met each other online, started an online relationship and then got together in real life. They have been together for three years and happier than ever.
I have met a couple of friends off forums and had a blast. The European forumers often organize get togethers and fan clubs which I hope to attend someday and meet them.
On the other hand I have seen scores of people who have been in disasters.
One gal I worked with met an Egyptian guy online. He was the sweetest most sincere guy she met and she eventually married him. She quit her job, moved there to be with him to find out he was already married. She immediately came back and started rebuilding her life. He contacted her saying he loved her and restarted the long distance relationship as they were still 'technically married'. He refused divorcing her and stated he wanted to move to states with her, to be with her and have a family with her. He said his marriage was unhappy and forced and he was divorcing his wife. Everything seemed smooth he sent her legal papers of divorcing his wife and she proceeded filing papers to have him immigrate. Soon her lawyer found out he was not yet divorced legally in Egypt. So then it was melodrama and disaster all over again with her preventing him from coming here and trying to get a divorce from him. She met another guy but cannot marry him since she is married to this other guy. Big mess.
Personally, it is a good medium to flirt have fun make friends, but it is very risky to use it to build long lasting loving relationships. Always be careful, very very careful and do excercise caution. The internet serves as a good mask.
In dating will prevent him/her from making a rash decision or sharing a gut reaction??!!😳
