What is the main Cause for Rapes ???

is it sick mind of sex-starved idiots activities !!?or some girls showing there body parts ans seducing boys being out of there house during odd hours trusting strangers!!!??or cos in communities where sex topics are discussed openly by adults in front of minors, are much rarer than where it is social taboo😳

at first I read this topic as Main Course for Rapes 😭 😆 😆

this is something which is there from the begining - its not about 21st century - but till date it has been a concerned matter as it belongs to human not technology or phase when you speak about exposure seduction or odd hours datings

but I feel it is something like a disease where we can say prevention is better than cure

It is a common misconception to consider rape as a physiological phenomenon. On the contrary rape is a psychological phenomenon and can be due to several causes. While some cases of rape are simply due to sexual desires, in most cases sexual desire is merely an underlying factor.

The most common psychological cause of rape is empowerment or domination. The person does not commit rape for sexual pleasure but for reassuring their personal dominance. Sexual desire can be satiated by other means. When a man rapes his wife it is not for sex, but asserting dominion that he gets what he wants. Consider the historic cases of rape and pillage during war. The conquering force rapes and sodomizes captured men and women. It is an act of assert brutal dominance and mental trauma. Often times there is no sexual awareness involved at all.

The next psychological cause of rape is repression. When a person is unable to channel desires positively and is forced to repress feelings, it builds up as psychological trauma. Prison rapes, cases of sexual assault in same sex dorms are usually a result of forms of repression.

Insecurity is another cause of rape. The person is unable to develop normal healthy social relationships due to shy awkward nature and they tend to prey on weaker people to feel better about themselves.

Some people are plain sociopaths who have delinquent behavior built in their system. Rape definitely is a psychological disease/disorder. Some sociopaths/psychopaths cannot be cured, and are a threat to society that must be locked up forever. Many soldiers, prison rapists etc have been reformed through counseling and intense therapy. Other one off rapists and people who snapped can be potentially trained to be better citizens.

Education and awareness can help prevent marital rape, date rape etc.

Victim blaming is pretty much illogical and totally misogynist in concept . No one asks for rape. Flirting or provocation is not consent, and inability to control ones urges is social delinquency and needs psychological help. In most courts of law Victim blame is inadmissible as evidence in a rape case.
