Corruption = 1 / unity of citizens ? - Page 2

I have seen stages of corruption. What I mean by that is, when I was growing up, being associated with corrupt people was bad, if someone said, he accepts bribe, it was a bad thing. Now when I went back to India for a holiday, a friend of a friend of mine was happy to marry a secretary of a small time minister in maharastra and the reason she proudly said was, common, he makes a lot of money under the table, plus free travel and 24/7 car with a chaffeur!!! 🤢 I kept thinking, have we actually accepted corruption in our society already???? Is it now OK to talk or brag about it? Shocked the life out of me for sure! Our night watchman's son wanted to join Police Force to get more money and he was easily telling me how much he will earn by doing what... cus he has seen few of friends in the force doing the same!

The more we plan to remove it, think its getting more n more deeply woven into the fabric of our country and I dont think its inversely proportional to anything anymore cus nothing seems to come in comparison or in its way! The gap between the rich and the poor is increasing....and the more this happens, corrruption will surely increase, keep on increasing..to become a way of life(I think it already is!)

@QT - Integrity by one or two or five cannot do any good, main point here, actually with denominator I meant citizens who wanna end corruption. Unity of people wanting corruption surely doesn't help here.

so as long as we have very less integrity contributed only by the unfortunately so branded "idealistic fools", there will be endless corruption.

i said i disagree with the POV that UNITY has anything to do with fighting corruption. Even if people show INTEGRITY individually, it would suffice. However, united corrupt ppl cannot get rid of it.. We see it already.. Chjaprasee se lekar upar officer tak all united and corrupt 😆😆

Again loop 😆😆 love it, exactly at bold and isn't that obvious. My meaning of unity of citizens implied who are against corruption, individuals efforts will go in vain.

Slight tweak in your fomula😆,

corruption = 1/ unity(combined integrity...where integrity is people against corruption) of people.

😆😆 How same thing can be said in 100 million ways😆.
