Agree with everyone here. Can't imagine a mother doing this to a child but then again we have heard such cases in the past too and every time I am numb hearing such things. There is this Andrea Yates who was left scot free for murdering 5 of her children on the basis that she suffered from depression. Post partum seems to be an excuse so may be this woman can also use it if it works in India courts.
