Should civil servants be involved in policy making or is it right of politicians to make policies?

Civil servants are iften educated and well versed on one's country can grow while politicians man focus is next elections, said that what ur views?

yes civil servants need to b involed!!But in the recent analysis by PMs office it was found tat only 20% of th Civil Servants in india are faithful to their country!!!!
n coming bakk to politicianss we all kno thm well!!!for thm only aim is to win th next election!!!and to increase their party funds!!!there r good politicians also!!!But we rarely recognize thm!!!
But as our main aim is to get india a superpower by 2020 it is needed both Politicians and civil servicers shud hav their views put up togthr!!!n try to reach th zenith !!!

Civil servants are supposed to pay a key role in policy making! Even the political situations are not that civil servant freindly still they pay a key role in administration!!! Whether its foreign policy or local administration they play key role provided they are not corrupt!!😊

Retired Civil Servants become wonderful politicians!!And retired civil servant turned politicians form better Presidents!!

BTW I always have crush on young IPS officers!! 2 years back when I used to goto my college,everyday near my college I used to see an IPS officer on his way to his office(Those were the days of the film Gharshana of Asin and Venkatesh,where Asin is Mathematics teacher and hero is IPS officer)

Civil servants with strong views do make difference and input in policy making. I know and I have seen it. But working along side politicians do make many of them greedy bureaucrats.

Minnie - should the basic criteria of being politicians, atleast at high level should enforce being or served for civil services? :) I know ideal
