Biological parents?

It is said

"Pedha karney waley sey palney wala bada hai " i.e. one who raises holds more value then parents who gave birth to an individual.

Do you Agree??

Parenthood doesn't end at parturition. It begins there.
It completely depends on how the kids were raised.. I definitely think that raising is a harder responsibility and if the job is done well, the one who raised the child should be appreciated more :)

Thanks to the biological parents to give birth to the child but the parents who raised them right gets a whole lot of credit for job well done IMHO.

Say after 15 years when the child grows up and learns the fact that he/she is biologically kiddo of someone else, has more liking towards them as compared to folks who raised him/her last 15 years. No personal experience but based of what I heard and seen in one distant friend's case.

oh my distant cousin threw tantrums 🤢 and a classmate did the same.
The same thing happened in Kabhie kabhie and I found Neetu Singh's character so unjustified and selfish I tell ya .

The adopted kid should be informed by parents before he / she hears from other sources and I doubt 15 /16 is a great age to hear that. Life is so complicated by adolescence already 😆.. I have no idea what the right age to tell the child could be. I can ask a child psychologist and post later 😊.

definitely palne wala bada hai. my hubby is adopted by his uncle and he definitely cares more about his uncle than his real parents.

giving birth is easy........going through all the ups and downs of raising a kid is the hard part.

At some stage or the other the question comes to haunt an adopted child...and the parents who have brought up the child must have a plan to disclose the truth to teh child and then help him adjust to it!

Nah consulting child phy. is not required. At this moment all I can say is 👏 great response. 😊

I agree with QT ....... to know about biological parents is a right to kid\person .. even if I am not wrong in UK even sperm banks have identification records for the father of future children ..

Though it is not easy and I can understand it would be very difficult for parents as well as child to handle such situation .

on a lighter note ........something came in mind here 😛

someone said .. it is already hard to tell a kid that they were adopted ....how would we tell them that they were defrosted if we opt for sperm bank .
