as per the polls conducted on many websites, Abdul Kalam has emerged as a hot fav. as the next presidential candidate........wat r ur views??

i agree tht he is a brilliant personality and has been like a catalyst for our country's scientific and technological development.... but wat abt the other aspects??? our country needs a more diplomatic person who knows the "dav pej " of our politicians....though a president is less powerful than a PM atleast he has some powers by which he can object to certain decisions..... i would rather opt for someone who is much more experienced in this field

Preeti, speaking de-facto, the president has next to 0 power....so who kares?😆...Besides being facetious, on a serious note...A second chance in office should be conferred upon those who have done something palpable....I have lost touch with the senapati of the Rashtrapati Bhawan (Read: President😆)....but other than him being perhaps the most well known and articulate presidential figure in recent history, I don't know what else merits him to the second term of presidency..😛...But on the other hand...If Bush can get second term then anybody can...😆😆😆

actually i do like kalam- he's a great role model and an inspiration to folks that you can achieve the highest office in the land based on just your accomplishments, not your color or religion. only thing, he needs a haircut real bad😆😆

nahhh...not part of it but could boast here that back home we have the cutest president in the whole wide world😉😆

seriously, how much power does an Indian prez has yaar. I think Dr. Kalaam's talents could be used lot more efficiently if we make him the education minister😊
