Hey guys this is my first time posting something in the debate mansion......😃
just wondering.....
everyone know's how addicting and such a great website IF is😊..we all make friends here and eventually start giving out personal info...esp. if your the MOTW. is it really safe? Most websites are bad and your not supposed to give out personal info? sooo.....

do u think it's safe?
is there a bad side of becoming MOTW?
Whats different about IF that u know people wont track u down??

it is good to be careful and know the consequences. things could get out of control 😳

well i tell ppl about me but dont give out too much info like no one knows which city i live in or which skool i go to, or even my surname on i-f and if they asked i wudnt answer its as simple as that. but not every1 wud find it as simple as that cos they mite accidently tell the truth or not nowin the consequences.and as far as memer of the week goes no one asked me questions that were really personal they were just about other stuff that i liek not like where i lie and all that, but it mite be different on other forums i dunno. well ppl shud be careful how much info they give out ova the internet but that shudnt stop em from havin fun and makin friends 😃

Whats different about IF that u know people wont track u down?? In the world of IT you can track down anyone.. There is nothing different...Better PM the mods.. I may be missing something here...

The moment you are on www from a unsecured network itself is enough to get you exposed to outer world.Security threat depends on whose interest you catch. Hackers are smart people.

Sharing info on your own in the virtual world is totally dependant on level of trust you share with the person on the other side.

do u think it's safe? Again sharing info to untrusted group can be harmful.
is there a bad side of becoming MOTW? You can dodge personal questions, no one forces to give personal info.
Whats different about IF that u know people wont track u down?? Nothing, just trust the admin / dev team to keep tracable info secured.

do u think it's safe? It is not safe to share important details about you in public but to close friends whom you can trust, it is fine.

is there a bad side of becoming MOTW? You need not entertain the personal questions and overlook them. MOTW is just fun.

yea i think people should be careful not not give out too much personal info on the net

Yes and No. In some situations i do like my cite, my email address, however i dunt give out my pics, my number etc.😊

Defintly not. Net is not safe. Especially websites like orkut and bebo.com. Still people use them.😉

No there actually isnt because usually the questions asked from you are about ur intrests and they are harmless. However if u feel that someone is trying to get personal information out of u, u can always ignore that question. So its in ur hands.😳

Well 1st of all its international. There are so many people on it and who trust it. Secondly we dont really give out personal information on if.😊
