What a joke (a bad one, imo).
The deed had been done...an alleged conversation between SRK and Wankhede had been given to media...
no mention about how genuine these messages are, not even in court (as if the court accepts them as genuine)
the next hearing in 17 days...until then, the CBI works under a new director...
as Wankhede has to keep mum, others have to do the speaking...and the media-field is open to further speculations...or all this dies a silent death ...
Just want to point out that lying to court and submitting fake documents is very very common... It happens everyday
Our own government does it... A very well known example is the pandemic.. The government submitted to the supreme court that there were no labourers on the road... The submission was made by the highest legal officer in the country.....
And this was when every single newspaper in the country was running front page stories about the miserable state of labourers forced to live on the road..
SW has this modus operandi where he plays half his battles in the public using the media
When I want to share updates with you, I'll post them in this thread here in DM... I tag those who had shown interest in the Aryan-SRK-Wankhede-topic either here or in the other threads...(sorry if I've omitted someone)
The NCB has given an answer to Wankhede's petition... I don't know how correct this article is but it is interesting nevertheless:
Google gave me this as translation:
Sameer Wankhede's trouble is going to increase with his reply filed by the NarcoticsControl Bureau (NCB) in the Bombay High Court. In this reply, NCB has raised many questions on Sameer Wankhede making very serious allegations against him. It has been said in this that SameerWankhede has not yet given the account of some of his expenses, which is very important to be investigated.
The NCB has said in its reply that Sameer Wankhede had quoted the price of his new flat in Goregaon as Rs. Regarding this property too, there is a lot of difference between the statements and documents of Sameer Wankhede. There is a great need to check the details of this income and source of amount. It has been further stated by NCB that between ITR 1-04-2018 to 31-03-2020, Sameer Wankhede has declared his annual income only 31,55,883 Rupees, while his wife has declared her annual income as only Rs. 14,05,577. Overall, the annual income of both of them is only Rs 45,61,460, but Wankhede has still not given the account of Rs 7,25,000 spent on their Maldives tour and Rs 22,05,000 for Rolex watch.Sameer Wankhede had also said that his wife had also invested Rs 1.25 crore in one of his properties before marriage. Both were married on February 8, 2017, but the ITR file of 2016-17 has not been given to NCB yet. Therefore, from where did the Wankhede family get Rs 1.25 crore, they are not telling any source of it. It has also been clearly stated in their reply that it has also been revealed in the investigation that the entire expenses of the Maldives tour of the Wankhede family were paid by a private person. was raised by Not only this, Wankhede always misled the department in every way regarding his foreign visits. It also cannot be denied that the custody of Aryan Khan was deliberately given to KP Gosavi. A lot of evidence has also been found in the investigation that after modifying the information notes, the names of Aryan Khan and Arbaz Merchant were added separately at the last moment.
scroll India has done a very good roundup of the past linked to the present - especially recaping the political involvement and the 'greater goal' of the BJP = dismanteling Mumbai as the hub of the Hindi Mainstream Filmindustry...(you may remember the big event Modi staged at Gandhi's 150th birthday 2019 where he heralded the construction of an immense new filmcity in UP): article = "as-samir-wankhede-faces-corruption-charges-recalling-the-political-frenzy-over-aryan-khans-arrest"
In Sept 2021 Modi announced the inauguration of the building site in Greater Noida (article: "PM Modi to inaugurate Noida Film City construction")...the only problem was the money for this 6000 crore project ... and the more than lukewarm interest ...also of financially strong bidders...
There had been an extortion plan, but a much bigger one than the one Gosavi tried to do...Wankhede handling Aryan over to Gosavi was the most 'costly' mistake...and Aryan caught without drugs (and then no possibility to prove that the accusation could not have been upheld was a major blow).
Now, the construction of the new filmcity-prestige-project has become a major disaster and Pathaan a major success...so what to do to try again to align SRK...throwing Wankhede into the arena again and using him - again - as a lever against SRK...
I don't know, if the CBI tactic will change with the new (BJP) director starting his work today...we will see...
Just a small update:
Yesterday, Mr. Wankhede had been summoned by the CBI for another interrogation - he didn't go.
Today, he wasn't summoned.
In addition, the media coverage has died down almost completely (my impression).
I guess, Wankhede's fear to get killed may be justified...he had been known as someone corrupt already as an airport official...so when an opportunity to go against filmpeople (even high proifile ones) presented itself through Sushant's death, he was made the man to get money and go against Hindi filmindustry (married to an actress - an insider - in addition)... focussing on prominent people had several advantages...and I still ask: what happened with all the quantity of dope/drugs found (at the Adani port, in lorries, in cellars etc.) worth thousands of crores...
Btw., he was at the Maldives at the same time when filmpeople were there, too...
Update about d'Souza (the guy who -allegedly - tried to give back the money as Aryan was innocent (but interestingly points at SRK...):
Wankhede's superior is a constant target... no idea if that has some foundation...

After SRK's tweet, a new narrative seems to flood social media...
Here a random tweet from someone who has an account but seems to delete his tweets after a certain time:
"Modi to srk - Need your voice for parliament.
Srk to modi - What I'll get for that ?
Modi - Sameer Wankhede
Srk - Done"
Actually, it's not really new, because first the allegation that 50 lakhs got paid, then the alleged chats handed over to the media had been done to implicate SRK again into a shady affair and damage his reputation (I'm glad that Jawan doesn't release on Friday...).
It was my first reaction when I read about Wankhede-CBI and I get the feeling that my uneasiness isn't illogical.
SRK becomes the bad guy and Wankhede the victim...
Another update through a HT article about the affidavit the NCB made public (now, it's not anymore an 'alleged' bribe of 50 lakhs...):
Had there been something special before the 18th of April, that CBI wanted the NCB to summit a complaint against Wankhede?
