Was cancelling cbse exams justified??

I don't think it's justified. This decision has been taken to impress some people and get votes. If cbse exams will have huge gathering inspite of covid measures then what about competitive exams?? I think the number of students in a competitive exams center is the same like number of students in a cbse center then will they cancel competitive exams too?? But that cannot be cancelled because these competitive entrance exams are the key factors of getting admission in a college And if I am not wrong covid has decreased to some extent so atleast they could have waited for sometime. What about those students who wants to do honours?? Class 12 exams are the most important part of student's life who wants to do honours. But now this will have no value due to this wonderful decision. Plus I don't think that there are much competitive exams in commerce and arts stream than in science so what about them?? If I being a science student who wants to study engineering is facing problems then what about others. This was the most stupid and disgusting decision everšŸ‘ŽšŸ¼. I want to know everyone's povšŸ‘šŸ¼

Cancellation of CBSE would have been justified only if elections were cancelled. The country is going to remain behind because we value election over education

I think it would have been better if students were given options that if they feel they can appear for the exams. But unfortunately we have been given the option of doing that after our internal results come out and that also when the situation is totally fine

Well to be honest, I didn't agree with the Government's decision. However, there are such circumstances that this decision is not completely wrong.

Also, I was worried about the future of students. So they are now giving students the option to give exams after the covid 19 situation settles down. So don't worry, students have the option for giving Board exam if they want to.

Given a choice to students all over the country would not work because it would be a logistical nightmare.

And I think holding entrance exams would not be as difficult, because it will be in select cities and can be spread across more centres to maintain social distancing, etc.

As per my knowledge there are plenty of cbse schools in a state so that could have been managed too. And I am not saying to take now take it after sometime but why to cancel?? As per news reports covid has been decreasing so why this decision?? There was a plan to make the timing of exams short and according to that students can only sit for 4 exams of their choice. Everyone said it can be taken in august so I think that would have been better. And for competitive and entrance exams I believe the number of students are double the number of students sitting for board exams. Anyways it's my opinionšŸ‘šŸ¼

I don't know how cbse works but maybe they could have had some sort of exam online with limited time?

Hey how did I missed that point it's actually true if our country can have full fledged elections when covid was increasing then why not exams when covid is decreasing?? They could have waited for sometime but no why will they wait they just think about votes and moneyšŸ‘ŽšŸ¼

I've had this question since the election started. In the wake of a pandemic, it's absolute nutheadedness to have an election. Also because of an election that increased the death rates the future of the country has to suffer. What about their base? I'd really like to know what steps the govt would take about college admissions.

@Bold which is very much unfair. You can't expect students to be bins just because you didn't put any thing yesterday today you load them double šŸ‘ŽšŸ¼

But the problem is the option is given after we get our internal marks we can think of taking exams. Basically the students who will give offline exams will get late for college admissions which wouldn't have been the matter if instead of cancelling the exams students would have given the option to either sit for the exams or don't sitšŸ‘šŸ¼. And actually I don't have much problems because I want to go in computer science line but some of my friends will have a problem. Plus this cancellation was like a slap to those students who worked hard for boards😭
