i would say actor should have a better life when they marry someone from thier industry but unfortunately the pressure put by media and the ambition of success can put wrench in the marraige pretty fast. emperically, the only marraiges that have survived in bollywood or hollywood were the ones where one of the spouse let his/her (almost always her) career take a backseat. everyone from sandra bullock to madhuri dixit, gweynth paltrow to raveena tandon become more selective and less visible on film scene after thier marraiges and motherhood. people like kajol, sonam, demi moore , amrita singh, karishma kapoor almost quiet the industry for a while . some returned back after a while while others focussed on more relaxed and stress free vocations.on the other hand almost all failed marraiges are a testament to clashes of ego(one is more successful than other), clashes of proffesional interests or lack of time together leading to infidelity and trust.let us considered the latest engagement...i wonder if ash and abhi will be able to keep thier cool should one of thier careers take a plunge(it is well known both of them are career oriented, also ash is considered to be a master at keeping in limelight and shying away from failures).
on a different note if actors marry people from different profession , they do not face the problems related to industry but the stress of failures of spouse, gossip magazines, being constantly in public eye can take its toll.also most of them end up fall short in terms of beauty when it comes to costars of spouses(who spend a lot of time maintaining thier looks).shahrukh khan is rumoured to have differences with his wife who likes to stay away from public eye.
once a very big hollywood star at the height of her career said that she had seen it all ...the success, the adulation, the fame and she felt that to grow as a person she needed to move on and do something that was more personal and family oriented. stardom was no longer as alluring to her as it was when she was a bit younger. i think she was onto something.
