Are Brand Names really that important?
Is it considered being materialistic if you buy only brand named items?
Like would you rather buy $60 jeans with Dolce & Gabbana brand...or $15 look-alikes?
Do they matter?Are they ridiculous?
You Decide..

If you took the brand name off, lets say jeans, and put them aside normal priced jeans, will you be able to tell the difference?
The only time you can tell one is wearing designer cloths is when your advertising thier big logo's. Just go for what you like and wear it, it doesn't have to be brand names.

I agree!😊
Brand names often have some sort of goodwill attached to them which is why people prefer purchasing their items vs. others.
Why do most people prefer a Toyota over a Ford? Its because its longer lasting. Why would I buy a jacket from Laura over something similar from Wal Mart? Because, there are more colour choices and the cloth is of a better quality.
However, there are many places where they have poor quality clothing which they stick their designer labels to. Many of Tommy Hilfiger's clothes are made in India/China/Bangladesh. If thats the case, I will go to India and buy the same thing directly from there at a cheaper price and even get more choices besides the standard Red, white and blue that Tommy provides!
Most of the time, we pay outrageous amounts for a brand name and do not look at quality!
I'd look at the cloth quality before purchasing any piece of clothing - Designer or not. Same goes for cars, sunglasses, and the like.
I have pretty much always wore brand names, a few time I have shopped at other places...
My favorite here in California are
Abercromie, AE, Gap, Express..........
