But the thing is he didn’t touch her in the incident she mention, He walked past her. And the most important thing he never touched her the way Rashmi was implying. I think you need to know the difference between wrong touch and personal space, I clearly know the difference. Hence not blaming Shukla of what Rashmi accused him of.

Nirbhaya's case is mostly remembered and talked about because of the brutality that ensued. The violent nature of the crime was the talking point. Otherwise multiple rapes happen everyday in India but they do not get such widespread attention as this case did.

So the comparison is to show that in general Indians these days are favoring violent and aggressive men towards women. Kabir Singh should not have become an all time blockbuster especially in 2019.

Similarly Shukla should not have so many fans on Twitter and over here (especially girls and women). He is a downright abusive MCP.

Thanks!

And I standby my opinion towards Indian men & indian audience.

An 8 year old girl raped because of her religion. Raped for multiple days by multiple men. And then when it was time to kill her the police officer said he wants to rape her one last time.

After he was done he put her on her tummy, his knee on her back and pulled back on her neck until her windpipe broke. Then a large rock was thrown on her face to make sure that she is dead.

And when the rapists were arrested after several days when this case got national attention, thousands of people (lawyers and BJP leaders) marched in favor of the rapists.

Current state of India!!

Omg!!! Horrible , poor little soul, rest in peace.

we need child protection law in India, I can't believe what is happening, it's really shocking

Most definitely agree! ..... Comparison is comparison, doesn't mean Shukla is a convicted rapist .... Comparison is becoz of the trend of hailing toxic masculinity who doesn't know how to not cross the line! ... This trend of turning a blind eye due to power, fame and looks has set a very wrong and disturbing precedent for a country like India! Any kind of actions that normalizes aggression, abuse or assault on women should be condemned heavily even if it's on TV ..... I mean people have criticized heavily even Kabir Singh who's a fictional character ffs and here we have a "real breathing" ass$$$$who thinks and acts like women are beneath him! .... And Shukla from no angle is a "reel character" ..... He's as REAL as you and I, and his history of abuse against his co stars speaks the volumes! .

Calling out all those who are hailing him is in no feat wrong! If this comparison is making you uncomfortable may be there's a bitter truth underneath it ..... Time to introspect and see how your support may be contributing to the core issue India is facing today!

7 years 😭... After loss of a life... such a precious life was just destroyed like that ..The girl would have completed her studies by now...😭

The culprits are getting punished after more than half a decade. I heard one of them was even preparing for some exam😳

Such delay make ppl lose confidence in Law.

I hope this is true and that innocent girl can really finally rest in peace .

So do her parents. I have seen her mom struggle so much.

You can't make a victim and her family literally beg for justice like this.

Look what happened in Unnao....

Those fast track courts must really work fast now. I heard about Disha bill I hope CG passes it too.

(Ugh! Such topics depress me so much... I can go on and on.. sry for the rant)

This is the state we live in.

A thread about punishment to rapists for a brutal crime. Someone makes a comment and instead of ignoring that ONE comment, just ONE comment, fans divert the whole thread in defense. This is the level of sensitivity we have today.

Celebs worshiping ke aage kuch nahi dikhta logo ko. Seriously man. What stupidity this thread is.
