Sections do become slow moving, some even disappear altogether because of no activity. I've seen a couple of sections disappear. DM itself was much more active once, now there are hardly any debates.

India launched 104 satellites but no excitement here?

On a different note, Kim Jong Un's half-brother Kim Jong Nam got assassinated and that might just become a terrible news for people like me who still use fountain pens. Apparently the assassins used a fountain pen to spray poison on Kim Jong Nam at the airport. This incident might trigger a ban on carrying fountain pens on board flights, although hopefully not.

A big deal absolutely but even the Indian newspapers are more obsessed with splashing the "Sasikala / Palanisamy" type news. I have alerts setup for my TOI App but I don't remember seeing any alert regarding this.

The payload is not heavy; however since it is much more cost effective launching satellites from India, this success would bode very well for the space program over there in terms of attracting customers from other countries.

only till Elon Musk starts offering reusable launch vehicles. till then ISRO shud use this to maximum.

They are still not progressing with GSLV much.

^^

ISRO did successfully complete tests for reusable launch vehicles . Lasted for less than 15 minutes at an altitude of about 40 miles but still the proof of concept is already there.

That said, I do agree with the "first mover advantage" point you made.

I really want ISRO to give Space X a run for their money.
Recently, I saw Hidden Figures. I hope someone makes a really good movie on Mangalyaan. There were a lot of female Indian scientists leading the project. I want to break the stereotypes about India and saree clad Indian women.

@Souro - you prefer fountain pen over Pilot Pens? I am in love with G2 pens - http://pilotpen.us/brands/g2/

Yup, fountain pens for me.
Do you know that Pilot is one of the bigger and older brands when it comes to fountain pens. And that their original name 'Namiki' (the name of their founder) is still used as a brand for their higher end pens, especially urushi, maki-e and chinkin pens. They have made and still make some of the most beautiful and sought after maki-e fountain pens, both as Namiki and as well as Namiki-Dunhill. Their higher end maki-e pens can run into hundred thousand dollars. You can search for Namiki Dunhill Sakura Rose maki-e fountain pen to have an idea about how beautiful those pens are and how expensive they can be.
Do you know that the Hermes fountain pen, Nautilus, is actually made by Pilot. It is designed by Marc Newson and made by Pilot, just stamped Hermes and priced at about $1.5K lol.

Speaking about expensive pens, take a look see at Aurora Diamante and Montblanc Johannes Kepler. Each of them will set you back by $1.5 million.

UP seems a close contest. If Modi pulls it ,this would bury the opposition for the next LS as well. Though I still feel SP might pull this one.
Punjab hangs between AAP and Cong. Gut says Captain might win this.

Infosys , Tata both have problematic Top Brass. Sikka should ignore the Murthy camp while Ratan T needs to stop crushing Tata for his pet projects.
