Genie, I also find the Kashmiri peoples reaction quite bewildering! Not sure about their vision of azaadi but an independent Kashmir is very unlikely and impractical due to geographical and political reasons. If at all, they would have to choose between India, Pakistan and China. whoever they think they would be happiest with. India for its part has already invested a lot into this region. It s time to seriously reconsider its strategy in this region. A firm and clear stand would be better than the kid glove treatment its getting at present.

@Angie- it's not about azaadi as much as about opposing the ruling Govt. It started in 2012-2013 , when VKSingh was making stupid decisions there and accelerated with Modi-Mufti mismanagement.

The current surge is after Wani..was expected given what happened during his funeral. Very complex situation, you need a political solution and for that politically the state would need to look beyond Mufti, Abdullah. You will never get a finite answer there...unfortunately , you would need to maintain status quo and push harder for peace.

How are people not aware that india is on the verge of loosing South Kashmir to militants..which is why there is intense lockdown at Shopian and our forces are legit pushed to the back there. How the eff is Modi getting away with this Kashmir situation is beyond me?

Nope. kejri is loosing his reputation. A demo fake , self-created EVM he and his stooges rigged...ECI EVM's cannot be accessed . It's like inventing something on your own and then proving the machine's errors as well. Idiot Kejri trying to deflect the latest scandal and his poor form .

I was locked out for over three weeks. I cleared my browser cache and cookies and my saved IF password went kaput in the process. I could no longer remember my old password. I could not reset it either, since I have not used my yahoo account, that I used when I first registered for IF, for eternity.

Had Genie contact mods to help me get back in as Return_to_hades. None of the mods in Bollywood forum responded. Then she contacted Souro. He did respond right away and said he'd email me. No email for a week.

Finally, I gave up and created a new ID. I am sure Souro is trying. It usually takes a global mod to reset passwords. Maybe IF is severely short-staffed.

Now the conundrum - go back to using RTH if and when they finally get me back in. Or just use this as my new life (I guess I will be limited for daily posts).

Multiplying numerator and denominator by IM, we get IM / RT = 1
RT / IM = IM / RT
Since RT = IM, 1=1

This is INSANE! And makes you think if the Arunabh Kumar allegation was also made by this same person. Also, Twitter tells me this is a repeat offender? Karan Kundra's case sounds somewhat similar in some aspects, though weirdly enough the tables were turned on him when a defamation suit came his way.
