I don't understand such people. The insensitivity with which I saw Frat boys gloating over Trump becoming President and people online gloating about how America is screwed. This man has the capability to destroy the whole world. Some of the things he has spoken about and if he follows through on them will have a global impact.

insensitivity wld be understatement and yes this man has indeed the capability to destroy we we have our we have fought for so long, the change people we intacipaiting in the near future, the world is by no means anywhere near perfect but no with Trump in power only god knows how things will turn out, forgive me for not being able to predict about the future but judging him from what i ahve seen from him so far i can never ever understand how anyone wld thing he's fit to run the most power nation on this planet. The only thing that i can think of is that they share the same views and thats why they gloat for his win, they probably wld do the same had they been in his shoes.

Kuch toh gharbar hai!

I dislike Trump as person, but when its comes to voting I m against Obamacare and his policies, if there had been different choice I would have supported him/her from republican. Atleast in the city where I live, I can see so many company/store closing down due to Obama policy. Employment rate is down but due to part timer.

Obamacare is nightmare for everyone. At one point there were over 100 employee in my company, now its shrinked into half and many are put on part time. Even though my company cover my insurance my family insurance has gone up from 100% that to for minimum coverage. I know Trump is mcp but he is against Obamacare, and I m pretty confident my friends who were laid off will join back our company again.

I also regret following the election like I did, I didn't follow the 2008 election this much which was making good history and positive change, I'm scared genuinely scared cuz anything is possible with this guy, the way he talked about everyone other than white male in America the last 2 years was really disturbing, and one wld know if they followed him or watched him talk, all his campaign was based on was hatred, all he talked about was hurting people and according to him that's the only way to make america great again.

I still can't fathom how we (American people) went from electing someone like Obama to Trump, I still think somewhere deep inside that this is a nightmare and everything will be fine when i wake up, it just makes no sense that this is happening in real...that's how much this has effected me.

Well in 2008, people voted for change and 2012 people voted to give more time for the change and it did change few things, insurance premium went from $150 to $275 for minimum coverage and people started accepting low wage part time job. Hillary would have continued the legacy of Obama which people rejected.

I did not follow the campaign at all but I knew enough to NOT vote for Trump (after listening to him making fun of the disabled reporter)and went to bed yesterday night taking for granted that Hillary is going to win! I was shocked and literally became dumbfounded when this morning I woke up to the news about Trump being our next president...I just couldn't fathom the mindsets of the people who chose him...Its just too scary that we are living with these people who are capable of choosing a guy with such a reputation...I not only feel disappointed and embarrassed but also dejected that most of my fellow Americans think that I am an unwelcome citizen here......

Now that it is all over, all we can hope for is that Trump as a President will get his act together and will try to do some good things at least to prove a point to his detractors...When that happens, I won't mind forgetting all the nonsense I heard about him and will cheer for him from the first row!

There is a reason why people people should vote whether the result is in favor or against.

As somebody said yesterday on a morning show, "Trump had no support from the media, even from his own party establishment... He ran a rough and tumbly campaign...

Hillary's campaign was a well oiled machine with a former First Lady helped by two presidents including the current popular one, all the media blatantly supported her, celebrities supported her, all the polls predicted her victory and still Trump won"

Hillary and her party are responsible for her loss, nobody else

Since this thread is about Bollywood's interest in U.S. election, I though I would post U.S celebrities take on the election

Celebs who said they'd leave country if Trump won

This is a long list, similar thing happened when Bush was running for president, but nobody left the country 😕

Hope atleast this time they keep their promise and really do leave the country 😃
