no no no no no not at all.. I am her fan as long as she stays a model. She is one of the most gorgeous girls in the world - a marvellous face to die for and a great dancer. Dress her in any kind of clothes and in any color and she'll do justice to it. But as an actor, "I get annoyed the moment she opens her mouth to deliver a dialogue" would be an understatement
(barring Raincoat- but one in 13 years is not much of an accomplishment now, is it!) I particularly disliked her on 60 minutes and in her interview with david letterman. For a woman my age, she appeared pretty imbecile. Since I don;t know her personally, I'll leave it at that.

Abhi on the other hand was superb in sarkar, but since Sr bachchan was also alongside, I did not mention it in my post with yuva and bluffmaster. I am not quite looking forward to seeing anything by him, as his father's big talk about Guru and unnecessary SRK-bashing has ruined it for me 😭. They were so great together in Coffee with Karan last season. I wish they could have stayed that way. Now I can only hope that Abhi skips a generation and takes after his grandfather. ..

Like he is a good guy and all, is he overhyped right now. I would say yes. But Mermaid, after watching Yuva and Sarkar, I think he has the potential to make it big. I am not a fan of Ash either!

Abhishek..if not constantly being pushed and publicized by Big B and by not doing any films with Miss. Aishwarya Rai, then AB Jr. Can really show his potential! 😃

Would he have as many fans or chances in films as he does now?

ofcourse yes. Being a good actor and he would have shined by now even w/o his father's endorsements.

I personally feel it wouldn't have been possible.

An ordinary actor (with no background/connections), even if he were a diamond in the rough, would not have been able to work with high profile directors after several flops.
