lets look at it from the other side

1. Kaho Na pyaar hai--Rakesh Roshan launches hrithik roshan; HR is a crze--

2. fiza & mission kashmir--karishma kapoor and sanjay dutt movies respectively where HR does the saaaaaaame thing😕

3, CRAP like naa tum jaano na hum; and aap mujhe acche lagne lage

4. main prem ki deewani hoon-the less said about HR's overacting the better; May i remind one and all that abhi won more praises for the portrayal of the silent Prem than HR did; sooraj barjatya is NOT friends with AB jr; SB's BFF is salman khan

5. HR retreats into a shell because critics tear him to shreds for his role in MPKDH and refuses Hum-Tum and dil Chahta hai

6. HR's dad to the rescue with Koi Mil Gaya; a masala mix of ET and forrest gump; as said by HR himself on KWK,has anyone watched forrest gump and i am sam and ajay devgan's portrayal in the indian remake of i am sam???ajay devgan was phenomenal and he was disabled all thru; HR had jadoo's help half way thru

7. because HR didnt believe in his friend farhan he turned down DCH; and then when DCH was ahit hrithik agreed to star in Lakshya that; what;s the word--FLOPPED--at least abhi stood up for Rohan Sippy and did Kuch na Kaho and Bluffmaster

8. HR takes a break and prepares for Krrish--in which histrionics were not needed; HR's dad comes to the rescue and employs an Hwood action director and all HR does in the movie is parade his hotness😳; krrish is india's superhero but half baked in comparison to spiderman BUT why did ppl forget CONVENIENTLY about the AB movie ajooba where AB had magic powers😕;and what was shahenshah???did the big B live in that black suit(i havent watched it so pardon my ignorance)plus the LA times; the NY times and the London times tORE krrish to shreds--but again no one remembers that😕--

9. after Dhoom 1 was a hit HR takes on Dhoom 2-which make him a Yash raj actor/employee again--yes you read right--the disastarous Mujse Dosti karoge WAS a yash raj film--but no one remembers that HR starred in that😕; kudos to him for portraying the 12 different roles in D 2 BUT that again is also the script

10. i remember when HR lost out on the national award to saif for hum-tum--does no one remember?? his whining😕

11.on KWK HR called most of his flop films his director's errors and not his lack of judgement--who told him to take the role on and had any other actor said that they wuld have received severe flak

12. K3G was a hit becaue of srk and the Big B and Jaya B and kajol; HR's role could have been played by anyone and karan approached him based on his looks-so that he would look good on the poster next to SRK and the Big B

AB junior and HR good eye candy and perhaps better in person. Good actors? Maybe if they work in Dad's or friends movies. 😕

I think he is great and only star child who deserves an inherited fanbase -and did not need mommy or daddy to launce him. His many performances were good and did not get noticed. Kuchh na kaho showed both his comedic and serious side. Refuge was good too, His cameo in Salaam Namaste was one of the two saving graces.

Definatly agree!!!.. i think Abhishek is great!! i reali do like his acting because he brings a different ...ummm flavour [not reali the right word but its all i can think of at the moment!]... i think he did gud movies like Salaam Namaste even tho he was a guest appearence it was definatly memorable...i also liked his rold in KANK...his was the ONLY persons role that was well acted!!!...i was reali disapointed with SRK!

Abhishek has also done good roles in Phir Milenge ...which he does not get credit for! Hum Tum - even tho it wasnt long it was great!! and Om Jai Jagdish was a film that he didnt get any credit from which was a great film n it had shown he had improved from previous movies!

Overall...Abhishek is a gud actor ..i think he has done even better because of his humor and his item numbers...e.g. Bluffmaster - Right Here Right Now and Dus - Dus Bahane. However i do believ him to be an up and coming star because he has worked in this industry alone...in the sense that his parents did not launch him or he didnt hav to depend on his parents - whom are big stars themselves - to get him stardom!!!

yes Abhisek is overrated. Hritik is also overrated. buffie start that topic too.
