MODs Vs MEMBERs - Page 2

Iron, I too have stayed neutral in matters and tend too get along with the moderators. Usually if have issue go to them 4 guidance. Yet at times, it seems there is no resolve than what? do we goto Vijay?, who iam sure is overwhelmed with things and thats the reason we have mods, viewbies, etc...

I saw in Kasam Se,and other sections that troubles of members and mods. I have pals who are members as well as mods and listen to them and there troubles. some thing mods are favoring particular members. Mods are saying not true just that not all is made public?

Its so hard to see what is the real picture. My opinion there are 2 sides to a story. If a mod is helpful to u u think they are the greatest. If they say something to u , than we are against..

Its hard to please everyone,certain people are just too sensitive,and they take offence to very frivolous things which are just meant for a few laughs....I for one have felt that certain rules were uncalled for,certain people are invariably scapegoated....But,mods do what is best suited for the forum,sometimes it may displease many,people might feel that they are being unreasonably treated......So,its something that is never ending...

Hey, gud 2 see such an interesting & different topic!

I think the modz on IF are extremely responsible & caring. U just gotta pm them & they will help you right away. And its not easy, to take the responsibility of soo many and try 2 mantain a balance of opinion amongst all.

But the problem is that its a nerve-racking task. For instance, when Indian Idol & Fame Gurukul wer in their final episodes, there wer soo many new members & almost everybody wer fighting for their fav contestent and rubbishing those who supported a diff contestent... in such a case, any normal human being can lose his/her cool.

But, I think it would be a good idea 2 give all the regular members a chance to be moderator for some period of time, say, for a week....it will give dem a sense of belonging & responsibility

agree with your first point mods are always there to help... but what if member have prople with mods😆😆.....mods perform good task in maintaining peace in every thread.

but giving duty of mods to every member....for some period ,... its not a good one ... u look to be really interested in being a mod.....😉

1) Are mods always right?

Its not a must tht always mods has to be right.. mods are humans just like the members here.. no one is perfect.. mods do mistakes just the same way as members.. its not tht wht a mod says shud be right in anwys... mod or regular member.. if they do a mistake just bring it to them.. they shud accept it if they are wrong.. 😊.. but normally members feel tht mods can never be wrong or even if they are wrong they wont accept the fact.. but if such things happens we shud accept mistakes as a person not by rank 😊

2) What should we do if we are having problem with a mod?

Talk to the person first.. if you dont find a solution frm the person then only go to a 3rd person 😊

3) Should there be a complain box directly reaching to vijay bhai or vidya ji.(any other suggestion )

Vijays' Pm box allows 1000 Pms.. im sure thts enuff 😆..a direct complain box or suggestions box😊

4) When usually mods go wrong (is it partiality)

Depends on situation.. mostly dev team members are those who have been here for quite sometime and known things better than a regular member with maturity.. so there is more chance tht know things better but not tht they know everything.... n moreover either its a regular member / mod or admin no one can keep the 100000 members on IF pleased.. 😊
