The woman who gave birth to the baby.

lets keep this discussion unanimous....of course the mother...she comes 1st no matter what.

the woman is alive and has a life. her life is far more important than tht of the unbor child. she is a daughter, sister, mother (if it wasnt her 1st child), wife, bahu and much much more. the lives and happiness of many other ppl are connected to her life. if the woman dies, it will be a greater loss than not having the child. the woman's life is more important than the child's. he child isnt even born yet so everyone can get over his/her loss but if anything happens to the woman they cannot get over the loss.

plus..if the woman is alive..she can have another child...and if for some reason she cant, they can always adopt a child

I read all the responses....but I'd like to give you a more detailed scenario....what if the mother could no longer have another child? Would all of you still choose the mother to save? Yes, I agree there's adoption, but was just curious to the answers.

😳 everytime it isnt a filmy scene... a woman who is nearly 40 yrs old...had complications in childbirths b4 ...had prob with uterus and excessive blood flow.. it was horrible for my whole family... and it is rational.. every practical rationale person would chose the mother😊

this is the question of a life... even then.. mother.. wht would happen if she can't have a child later..is she just a child bearing machine that if not able to produce just put her life in danger? .. does this mean that she should risk her life?? NO! in this case it is the mother

You phrased that so much better than i could have. I totally agree, saving the mother wud be the right thing to do no matter wat.

hmm obviously mother.... even though doc says she cant be pregnant again that doest effect this situation...

reason:- life and death are in gods hand not docs.. i have seen a female i know her very well she was in the same situation... every one said the same save mother... and doc said as soon as the girl(it was baby girl) will come in this world she will die in few minutes but thanks to almighty i think the girl is now abt 4 years of age... and quite intelligent...

so our choice should be both but first prior is mother...rest in gods hand..

a mother for sure.....
though its really sad if someone in this situation has to decide,but as it was already mentioned,a mother has life already and can get or adopt a baby later on.
