definetely, there are a lot of people out there who think that they're better than everyone else who is less rich or not in the upper caste rankings. It exists because we accept it, i mean have you seen how the poor treat the rich? They treat them like their gods and give them all of their self respect and dignity. You can be poor and still uphold your dignity to your employer or any person who is richer than you. This gives them a feeling of superiority, and i guess that's one of the main reasons that they feel such a way.

Originally Division of Four Classes was made by Gods based on Peoples skills so that people can get best out of themselves. But as the time changed people used it as a Median of SHOW OFF their Power.
In most of the Developed country, there are no difference between any human being. There is no cush thing as rich or poor anymore. You get what you deserve based on your hardwork. Bill Gates is one of the Richest Man in the world doesn't mean that he shows off his wealth by donating Billions of Dollars. He is donating money to help out the needy and to treat every human being equally.
