How to stop drinking alcohol?

I have been drinking alcohol for arround six years. From last six month i am trying to stop drinking alcohol. I have been held for DUI case. Please give me suggestions.

just stop drinking, throw out all your alcohol now and fight it whenever you have the urge to drink. keep trying, and you'll succeed.

If you cannot attend AA meetings in person, try this out: https://www.aaonline.net/ Although, the real life version is obviously a lot better since you will be able to interact with others living in your shoes, face to face. I knew someone who had to go through this route to get his feet back on track.Today he's normal. It's awesome that you realize you have a problem. Many people live in denial until it's too late. Also, do not even attempt to stop drinking all at once, try drinking in moderation, then gradually stop. But keep attending these meetings until you fully stop. Good luck!
