I think it's evident in the post. Don't ask the reason -- it's never a reason. It's always an instinct. But if asked to elaborate. Women's writing I tend to find a lot more "balanced" and articulate. Men, in the other hand, just tend to post their thoughts without proofreading it for the 50th time. Men also tend to have a more assertive tone with to-the-point and concise language.

I don't know really. Most of the time when I read a post, I tend to have an image of the person in my mind -- which means I automatically judge the person's gender. And whenever it has been possible to check it for real through their profile, most of the time my instincts were right.

Except ... the, well, to put it in modest language (😛), the ones who'd themselves not know what to call themselves, even though they try to portray a 'manly man' type personality. Anyway ...

Well! The gender ratio on IF is skewed so I automatically assume everyone to be a female. I've only been wrong twice from what I remember. 🤓

LOL you made a topic on here after many were confused about you being a guy on JDJ 😆😆

It does get confusing when it comes to gender on IF, not that it matters during any discussion. But most of times I find myself ROFL when I find out the member I was picturing as a girl turns out to be a guy or vice versa, creates quite an image I must say.

I always initially assume that everyone is a 20 something year old female. However I've come across members that fangirl psychotically about certain celebrities (Unhealthy psychotic obsession). And I automatically assume that they are 12-14 year old little girls that have a lack of hormonal control. But *Insert dramatic music* the shock of all our lives when it is revealed that they are ladies in their mid 30's to 40 (married and have children). *DEN DEN DEN!*
