it is impossible. 46 years later I still remember her. At the end of the journey all tat remain are the memories, especially the one of your first true love.

True love only happens once.. (that's what I believe, I don't wish to force it on anyone😊)
Therefore, if your first love is your true love then you will never forget them and will always love them and no-one else..

However, if after your 'first love' you find someone else and you love them, then in my opinion your 'first love' wasn't your 'first love,' they were simply someone you cared for and liked, and in most cases they were simply the first person you had a relationship with, but it wasn't love. So these people are easy to forget.

When you really fall in love with someone, you will never forget them, and this person is both your true and first love. They are the first person that comes into your head when you hear the word love, and the phrases 'first love' and 'true love.' After you find this person you realise that you can never love anyone else, and that any so-called 'loves' you had before were meaningless compared to this person. He/she will be the first person you truly loved and they can never be forgotten.

I think people think first love and first relationship are the same thing.. But that isn't always the case..

No,One can never forget their first love. One can get over it, fall in love again: one can hate them, move on or whatever. Forgetting them is just impossible.

No matter, the first love was a true love or not. First love teaches us to feel about somebody in a different manner. It is when you look beyond yourselves. When (however, cliched it may sound) all things are beautiful, there is this continuous butterfly feeling in the tummy, one is high on life. Experiencing all these little feelings for the first time is/will be always memorable. However long it might be, the feeling on seeing your first love will always be fresh.

The baggage first love comes with is too much.

I just hope, everybody's first love remains their last <3

I think love remains indefinable feelings...personaly I love my first /middle/last/current and all loves...it is not just a biological attraction between a man and a woman... It is that too, bt that is only the beginning., cant possess it...can only be possessed by it...& I think those people who want to possess love never come to know anything of it...when u r (dont fall)Love with someone or Rising in love, u mature,understand different feel n thoughts and sayings..and it becomes a state of ur being...😊

Why forget all the fun times . Not just the first love, but all the wild flings and persons we met since school days. I do not keep photos and pics. I decided to memorise most of the pics and persons too.

I have a huge collection of memories. Frankly the more the merrier 😆

But once you marry someone else it is advisable to throw away old pics of ex boy friends and girl friends for obvious reasons 😆

Yes most of us tend to be sentimental.

Best way to overcome attachment is to pray I think, and then we will be free.

A deep attachment to someone who has gone away or even passed away can be very depressing like a black cloud.
