Anu, you said that we should throw away these politicians by not voting from them, but do you think there is a front right now in India where we can rely upon?

The party started by IItians did not garner much support as young people did not vote fr it, or did did not vote fr anyone. No political party right now is opposing it, neither are any big personalities who have weightage in the society, except Sidhu who I feel was doing it for fun.

We need a organizaion where we can bank upon. Youth For Equality should play a wider role by trying to encompass al sections and should do stronger measures like Civil Disobidience(i know they are doing it in Delhi).

Those politicians who agitat like Kapil Sibal are obstracized by others. What we need right now is a leader, or a personality which and effectively mobilize the revolution.

amogh, now whr will u get these leaders frm?? its we the youth who have to have the leadership quality to come against these politicians.. see now there were 4 IITians who formed the party.. if they would ve got a much better campaign and votes, they could ve got the seats.. this 4 can always increase to 40 and then to 400...

wat we need is an aggressive campaigning for the parties started by the youth... no news channel except CNN-IBN covered this issue very deeply.. there are good media personnels who support these parties and the youth and so we need to get in touch with these personnels for the campaigning and publicity...

I agree Anu & Abhi that we have a leader in ourselves but tell me how many of us are able to express it. Though we are all capable of it, very few all able to harness theor complete abilities.

Anu you said that 4 IITians formed a party, and they can become 40 or 400, but at present our society is in a stagnant state. You see the way the French students revolted earlier this year when the Govt. announced a change in Labour laws making is easy for the employer to dismiss his workers. Sonething of that sort should be done here on a massive scale, and only then will the Govt. be forced to act.

One more question to all members here, why are only the Medicos protesting on a large scale? where are the other sections like Engineering(excluding IIT) and even normal Graduation as well as Junior colleges' students. Junior college students should be the most out there protesting as its their future which is being jeopardised.
