My expression was in some ways a poetic exaggeration, but it is true at some point. 😆
The body and mind play very important roles and we cannot just brush them aside. We can cognize the physical world only through the senses and the mind; the body "houses" them.
But the energy that drives all the bodies us the same.

As they say the screen never changes but the pictures keep moving.

I loved what Maharaj ji said: The moment consciousness appears it is caught in the false, but the Awareness is only an observer.

I guess it is partly because our "consciousness" is limited because we are applying the senses which are inadequate. If our Higher Senses are more developed it may be another story.

As Shakespeare wrote that all the world's a stage and we are all actors coming and going.
