What is happiness ?

is it materialism ? Believing that happiness comes from money or success is an illusion? what do ya think?

Happiness is having love, wisdom and freedom.
Union with God is permanent happiness.
Bad karma can sometimes be an obstacle in achieving happiness so we need wisdom to free our minds, God's grace is most important. But God will say that His grace is always available and it is up to us to remove the objects that block it.
In life some amount of wealth is needed to survive too.

Peace of mind is true happiness. Ego and desire has to be controlled so that the mind does not become restless.
For the soul to evolve some amount of challenges may come our way but God's grace will protect us so long as we make sincere effort. I think love and wisdom act as an armor in achieving peace of mind because we meet all sorts of people in life and some are only too happy to cheat us ( too much wealth attracts the wrong friends too).

I don't know what happiness is I haven't expeienced it fully yet. =(

Happiness is our real nature they say. We get peace of mind in places of worship provided we do not yak yak yak there.😆

Happiness doesn't alone come from money or success. Even though money and success play a role in happiness, it also comes from family, friends and unity. I would say money and success are not really that important because if you are poor and have a great family, little things like giving each other home-made gifts can bring happiness.
