So latest news indicate Gaddafi is dead and one less tyrant in the world.

The White house is yet to confirm while Al Jazeera have published pictures of what is supposed to be from his death.

Will Libya finally get its democracy or will it become another country like Iraq and Afghanistan??

I guess so. Why the question mark though? You doubt that he is dead? 🤔

I think one must understand that just because Gadhafi is dead does not mean the war in Libya is over; instead...now is going to be the most trying time for the rebels in Libya. One can only hope that now that this man is gone, they can establish a strong, free, and democratic system. More or less, it's the same scenario with the death of Bin Laden and the capture/execution of Saddam in Iraq.

Country needs another strong leader to unite the country through a democratic process.
But there are some who are from his own town, Bani Walid, who are unhappy.
I never like a situation of other countries interfering and bombing one's country and taking sides.
Here it is all arguable.
Many Libyans have died and hope democracy will be fully restored.

As happy as i m that he is dead, I hated the way it ended. I couldnt bring myself to watch the vdos and almost felt sorry for him. I know that more than the atrocities he committed in his lifetime, i ll remember the humiliating way he died. He was too much a villain to deserve even the tiniest drop of sympathy but somehow i think alot of ppl will feel like that.

As for Libya, i hope that they are able to rise above their past and together build for a better future.
