And well, if I am asked, I don't exactly believe in revolutions. So, while 'not being raped' is a phrase to caution women, 'not raping' in itself glides over all parameters of absurdities. I do not believe in the righteousness of people, let alone just men. Most men are undoubtedly the cheapest of swines and I mean no offense to those who think they are better than that. The point is that everybody contracts and fits into a shell, never to be seen while something such as a protest is on in favor of something so 'explicit' happens.

It ain't just women who can be associated with s**t, the term. Men out there, they run their places like that too. However, people act as if there exists no such thing and then, as we know, the matter about women being s**ts is made use of when you wanna abuse somebody, any random gal you wish to cuss. It is some women's profession and I believe that respecting what she does in not an obligation but when we live in a 'society', we should at least learn not to criticize because the first ever thing that a society teaches us in reality is to mind our own businesses. Also, I have for long found 'I can wear what pleases me' very appealing, but somehow I'd be smarter not to wear what I might like to because I don't get out of my parents' house to entertain men and women commenting on the color of my pants and the size of my upper body. 🤓

And as for women being called s**ts, let us just say, it should not just be restrained to the female lot. But then, if I go to school, I should not find being called a school gal offensive. Yeah, that'd be all. :)

Hello there missy!😃

self defeated- well even though the walk was a huge success abroad, but when it happened here..not many could even muster up the courage to fight for what is rightfully their own- their self respect and their body!
despite the kickoff such a global movement into our very own land..i still hear instances of sexual crimes almost everyday..that is why its a self defeated movement..

although i certainly dont believe so..(notice the exclamation in the title 😛)

ok so coming to the crux of ur argument: how do u elaborate on this?

"'not raping' in itself glides over all parameters of absurdities"
i can wear what i want is something that i might call a eutopia in such a gormless society..i cant wear a skirt and not think twice about wearing it..because i know the kind of looks it would garner!
so yeah thats the whole point of the movement kanky..its my body i wud cover it the way i desire..u look at me..HOW Dare you?!😊

The pigs who rape or ogle at women...do u think that they would be inspired by these kinds of rallies not to do so...I don't think so...on the other hand they must be having a jolly good time ogling at the scantily clad women at these rallies...arre bhai..judo/karate seekho...aur apni raksha khud karna seekho...

the name stands for the immoral invasion that a man commits and then taints her forever..that was the whole point..if u call us s**ts..then dont cringe at d name of it when we try to do something that we want to correct in this drain of a situation!

do u think judo karate self defense helps when a swine just jumps at u without a warning?? cmon..gone are the days..we need to prove a point and help reform the mind set..agree that its nt exactly a finger snapping job but well..Rome wasnt built in a day either..and that inspires all feminist groups to do their bit in the process of mindset building!

Yours is the way my conscience puts it too, Daanav. :)

But somehow, I know I have better things to do than analyse how they dared to be touchy about what I wear. It ain't just about the skirt and the thirty apprehensions regarding wearing it. It could be my hair, the way I talk or well, at what time I get out of my house and at what time I am to return. Clothes are the loudest with their 'vulgarity' quotient but essentially anything about my demeanor can be revealing, dun you think? But then, I really think I have greater things to do. People who 'dare' to talk of my clothes would actually scarcely have a teaspoonful courage, that's the point. So, what is wrong in playing safe, anyway?

Reform the mindset of whom? a rapist?...try to be practical and think...of all the crimes...rape is the worst...a person who rapes or even thinks of raping is morally bankrupt...do you think taking out rallies is going to change their mindset?...then u must be kidding urself...laaton ke bhoot baaton se nahi maante hain...the only thing that can deter them is the worst possible punishment...a raped woman is scarred for life ,both physically and emotionally...and these rapist once they are caught need to be kept in the jail for ever...that is the solution...that is what is going to scare them ...not some s**t rally...
Yes...learning self defense will come in handy when attacked suddenly without warning...these martial arts are designed for this...

no one has the right to rape a woman even if she is running naked on the streets..

Hey, not to intrude or anything, but don't you think it has never been about rights? People have never been lawful. 'Sides, what would be the possible reasons behind anybody running naked on the streets, let alone a woman?

Are u serious?..u didn't get that?...that was the example of an extreme scenario...My reaction was to Cyrax's comment about scantily clad women...a woman's attire should not be used as an EXCUSE for rape...no woman deserves to be raped even if she is not adequately dressed...there is simply noo excuse for rape...if u still don't get it then I am sorry...I won't be able to explain it any better...
