Ind Vs Pak cricket

I was ecstatic when we won the match on the 30th March. At that point in time the finals didn't matter to me. I didn;t care if we got battered by Sri Lanka because we had beaten Pakistan. Only when we won and Sachin was carried on the shoulders of Pathan and Kohli did I realise just how much this WC meant for us. The pressure of the finals was a lot more for our players than that of the semis. They did it for the billions of Indians and they did it for Sachin and that emotion is probably bigger than that of winning it due to rivalry between the two countries.

well for me world cup just remains exciting till india is still in, once its out its all over, IPL players are scattered all over, so it sure remains exciting till the end...but yeah world cup is more exciting since its once every four years....and IND VS PAK match is only dead exciting in world cup... not in regular one day series...

Anyways, yeah...Ind Vs Pak matches are interesting. And lemme add one thing- Anything that is Ind vs Pak ( i mean not just cricket ) is bound to get ''extra attention''. And frankly telling, no matter how much media or our leaders say ki we should just take it as a match, the fact is, it automatically becomes ''more'' than a match. And whosoever media or leader was begging the people to calm down initially, they themselves become ''extra'' joyous if their country wins. 😉 I mean if i take my own example, i am not at all a cricket buff! But still i was eager for our team to win on 30/03/'11 . So it's something very natural. 😊
