Media, the press people, are supposedly the voice of the common people! but this thing has definitely lost its meaning in the current times....

the media people, these day are more interested in "making" than breaking news, and seems like they can go to any extent to do that....

and recently, after sme media people forcibly entered the hospital where AB was admtd....the whole question on the responsibility of media has gained importance? so i wanna know....

1. what are your general views on media in the recent time?

2. do you think that the media people really cross their limits when it comes to interfering in the lives of the public figures? is it justified?

3. what are your views about the hundreds of new news channels? do you think that the news, reports they show are reliable?

4. and lastly, what do you have to say about this "page 3" fixation of the print media? don't you think that even the front page of your national daily has been merely reduced to just another page 3-ish page?

News today is either an outright lie, complete bullshit, or about why salman khan beat up someone at the disco- Now this is neither new nor is it news. But it makes the headlines-

A simple example-
One night my husband and myself watching Star news heard how shockingly Sachin Tendulkar had detirorated, there was no coming back. He needed to retire and make way for a new generation before the wold cup. The injury and the years of playing took a toll and he was done. The criticism was harsh and caustic to say the least. Not having followed cricket that close in recent years I believed them and thought maybe so, Sachin had peaked and was now on his downfall.

The very next morning (Sachin had by now made his record century) they were singing his praises. Drinking coffee we were wondering if this was an old "episode" 😆 or some kind of funny satrical take the same news reader was doing. He was talking about Sachin's magnificent genious, Ala Don Bradman, Who could dismiss him, his bat talked, his eyes spoke, and blah blah blah.
Star news was in Sachin Tendulkar's home interviewing his son and daughter, "Aapke Paapa ne itna achcha khela aapko kaise lag rahaa hai".
I mean this was the height of insanity. Like Sachin's baby son is going to know. He didnt care two hoots, he was busy bursting Diwali crakers. Ridiculous.

First make up your mind, atleast for a certain period of time decide what you want to say, then say it.
If you want opinions about "NEws" dont go arounda sking 4 year olds, check in with older people, they might be more interested after all you are not the nickelodean channel-

And can they please have a seperate news minus any bollywood faces. The rest of the day they can show all teh Amitabh Bachchan they want.

Uff- Im fed up to say the least, this is not journalism, its a bloody hoax.

Internet is by far the best, atleast one can control what one can and wants to read.

media nowadyas really sometimes crosses the limit....
but i feel ppl r also to some extent responsible for it as they always wants to see garam masala things...gossips affairs and so on.....

so media is not alone responsible...they show what we want to see.....

viewers have to change...not all some....then media can improve 😛 😛 😛
