I agree with you logic here summy...

Religious matters are very complicated and sensitive and I think women should be better able to comment of their own attire.😆 But if I were a woman I know I would definitely throw it out unless I am a nun. I hate being restricted by a lot of old beliefs and superstitions. But I have no quarrel over those who wish to wear them either.

Well if the burka helps in reducing sex crimes I guess it has served its purpose.
There is no doubt that when women wear revealing clothes sex crimes increase.
But wearing such clothes are not conducive or practical for working in the fields or in factories.
In the business executive world most people want to deal with a face whom they can identify and relate to, so at least the face has to be shown even if the body is fully covered.

oh then..rather unfortunately, practicality of the matter is all that matters at the end of the day, i suppose😃⭐️😆

It is not as if every woman who gets raped wears "revealing" clothes....in Delhi according to police stats in vast majority of rape cases (90%+ if I remember correctly) victim knew the attacker.

Why should women wear Burqa to help reduce sex crimes, it is like saying people should stay at home to escape crimes.

yes we should try to be rational as far as possible bearing in mind what the official guidance is.
It is pointless to grow roses in a dark room, let them beautify the world.

I'm not sure how successful burkhas are in preventing sexual assaults... i mean the niqaab didn't protect these girls from being sexually harassed.
