For me, personally, I don't want imagine anything too lavish --- something simple yet heavenly (pun not intended). I want my loved ones near me, a few crazy fantasies transformed into reality, and answers ... answers to all the questions I've had in life and about life. An explanation of why things happened the way they did in my life. That's all.
In Five People You Meet in Heaven, excellent read if you're looking for something, Mitch Albom writes:
"People think of heaven as a paradise garden, a place where they can float on clouds and laze in rivers and mountains. But scenery without solace is meaningless. This is the greatest gift God can give you: to understand what happened in your life. To have it explained. It is the peace you have been searching for."
P.S. Imagine you really are going to heaven for a second! 😛
