It cannot be denied that there is a certain amount of thrill & challenge in pursuing something . The more unattainable it is presumed to be the more is the thrill. But when it comes to pursuing a human being (girl or guy) certain ethics come into play which should be respected.
I think that is a very stereotypical view of things. Mankind, in general, likes to pursue things they can't get, so that they can be involved and exercise their brains. Why? Well, in order to enhance technology and stay on top of everything. For example, NASA launched the Kepler mission in the last year to find life in outer space. Now that is helping mankind in general, isn't it, but this mission wasn't tailored by only men. Women also gave their ideas. Many senior scientists of this operation were women.

Men are more stubborn in nature (and this is a very generalized observation; I cannot be speaking for everyone out there), compared with women, so I can understand it why they would like to pursue things that are unattainable, and more, why they would like to keep pursuing it even when their hunt looks futile. Moreover, girls are generally (yeah, another generalized observation, so people can stop pointing their daggers at me) more understanding and realistic than guys; they worry about the future and thinks twice before doing a work - when they see something is unattainable, they usually stop[s] themselves from wasting their time on running behind its back, and rather, focus on things that are easier to reach.
I like stubborn girls, though. (WA, are you listening). 😛
Those who believe freedom and respect in life, they never try to pursue others!😊
And once you "get" that goal or that "girl" or "guy" .... you start to look for a newer goal? Is that right ?
