hi all,
I have been thinking abt this few days back and i think this is the best place to discuss abt it.
character makes an actor or Actor makes a character!!
I feel that it's a character that makes an actor! No matter how talented the artist is if the character is not written well, the actor can not do full justice to the role. An actor is restricted within the boundaries of his character sketch!
I would like to know your views on this topic. It applies for both Tellywood and Bollywood actors!!😛
cheers
Kai

I think an actor makes a charcter as really, the actor gives it his/her all in fiiting into his/her character and it's not like everybody is a talented actor. You've got to feel the emotions that the characters feels when encountering a particular situation etc..., and only a good and talented can do so.

Mixed feelings. But I think the actor deserve more credit than his character sketch. Sometimes good character gets ruined because the actor couldn't play it well. Other times simple character is appreciated so much because the actor played it well. Even if it's a small role.

😆 I thought I was in dmg forum for a second.

A good actor can enact any character but it helps to have a gr8 role that goes down in ppl's memory & hearts. While a good actor can put life into a character , an inspiring character can also contribute a lot towards an actor's success. A good actor playing an insipid character will soon be forgotten. So I think suitable casting is very imp to get that magical combination that seems to be made for each other . Casting of Rajat Tokas as the young prithviraj is a good eg
