How to control increasing corruption?

Corruption in India, as we know, is a consequence of the nexus between bureaucrats, politicians and criminals. Earlier bribes were paid for getting wrong things done, but now bribe is paid for getting right things done at right time. It is a vicious circle that keeps going on. It does not shock us anymore to know that not only politicians, ministers and bureaucrats are corrupt, but even many of the judges, professors, doctors and NGOs, etc, also belong to the same category. Corruption is prevalent in almost every section of the society and at every level.

One thing which has to be ensured is proper, impartial, and unbiased use of various anti-corruption regulations to take strong, deterrent, and timely legal action against the offenders, irrespective of their political connections or money power. The law enforcement authorities have to evoke faith, and be fully accountable to command public confidence.

What are your suggestions for effective prevention of corruption?

Every where you see there is corruption in this world. Some murgi chore is caught here and there and is punished... Hathi chores get away free...The only way out appears to be to employ a huge multinational to run the administration of this country, by calling world-wide tenders, and confining the politicians to the barracks😃😉

Good point souro 😛 unfortunately , the population in India goes on spiralling due to various factors , since India is a secular democratic country no harsh measures are taken by the govt in this direction unlike China. The legal processes in India are way too slow, complicated, expensive & elusive . Its much easier, quicker, cheaper & effective to grease palms and attain ones objective Looks like a hapless situation really !

When the one billionth child was born, the Prime Minister and other politicians went to meet her and gave her various gifts and scholarships. It was as if it's some kind of achievement meant to be celebrated. A country which should have half the population of what it has currently actually feels happy in the knowledge that they're one billion strong and in a few years will overtake China. What they don't see is that China is 3 times bigger than us, must've more than double the resources and yet even they feel that they're over-populated.

perhaps we shud have disincentives as incentives dont seem to B very effective 🤔

But then what happens to our vote bank politics ...& our politicians 😆 How about starting with the politicians first... Anyone with more than 2 kids shud B barred from contesting elections 😉
