Every Indian's life revolves around something or the other and they are obsessed with them.

1) Movies: I know people who watch 1-2 movies per day to per week.

2) Music: Looks like somebody likes Rafi a lot 😛

3) Food: if the mention of chocolates, cakes and desserts is making your mouth watered then you know what it means. 😛

4) Sports, Games and Video games: As said in this topic. Moreover, some like to play and some like to watch.

5) Books

6) Internet: Lol! did I forget it?

etc...

so are these hobbies or addictions?

well these are the differences: roster as u said, new control system , all new story designing mode where we can make cutscenes and rivalries.. its awesome.. also the road to wrestlemania mode is awesome.

Lol! and isnt piracy wrong?

Moreover, regarding intelligent marketing: may be it is intelligent for the people who are selling. Something cheap could be when they tell lies about their products in order to sell them.

yes it is, but buying a game for 2500 rupees is worse 😆

anyway its ok that they protect against piracy.. but forcing us to buy it? too much!

anyway its ok in promoting the ps3 and 360, but why at the expense of the ps2?

O.kk so 1 to 2 movies perday -per week is little bit of a stretch ...and most of us don't have the luxury to indulge in that practice...and taken for granted u don't care for chocolates, cakes and desserts ...many r not fond of sweets either ....
But... the way u categorised "Indians" ..I am curious what are the favorite pastime, hobbies or addictions whatever u call them of "non Indians" other than eating sweets,(brownies, donuts, cakes et al) listening to music , reading books, playing indoor(video games ) or outdoor sports, browsing Internet or watching movies on dvd, tv or theatre ??????????????????......
Curiosity is my middle name ....😃

I know Indians more and hence wrote the above list. Its good to have hobbies until and unless they turn into addiction. No one sits in home looking at wall.

I have some friends and, from the above list, for them, movies and food take the upper seat. For example, when I call them for playing cricket or football then only 2-3 turn out, but when I call them for dinner, I even get to see some people for the first time.

Regarding non-Indians, it is difficult to say as it depends on their different countries. They also have all the hobbies like above, but some more of below:

1) Bar: Main way of socializing for them is to go to bar. Drink with friends, etc

2) Diverse hobbies: such as Wall climbing, Piano, dirt biking, skiing, skating, cycling (covering like 100km etc)

3) Beach

Indians also have such hobbies, but their number may bot be that much. Indians can do everything and they don't need bar for socializing. However, these days Indian parents ask their kids to put studies over any other thing. Anyway, studying is good :)

The other thing that I followed passionately along with the 2008 presidential election was the Pirate Bay trial. I'm a huge supporter of the bay. The thing is, I do not encourage piracy or completely condone it. I encourage everyone to buy as much as authentic merchandise as possible. At the same time too much merchandise is extremely overpriced. Especially when it comes to software, like MS software which makes you shell out dollars for sewage. Stealing is wrong so is highway robbery and holding hostage. I've bought all games I own, but at $49.95 a game; its impossible for people to own. And without game rental places in many parts of the world, piracy is the only option. The purpose of the piracy movement is not to rob income or infringe rights - but to enhance fairplay and efficiency in digital rights management. Its a complicated thing to explain. Maybe a debate on it sometime.
