Good intentions are useless in the absence of common sense.
-jami,baharistan

India followed socialist economy for long 40 years. those 4 decades spoiled the whole structure of Indian economy.
Private sector was no where to be seen. corruption and favoritism were spread all over.the main purpose of all this drama was to bring India out of poverty and backwardness but nothing happened. we r able to eradicate the poverty more speedily after 1991, when our economy is open ,liberalized and privatized.

How about so called democracy in Singapore with full Governmantal control .
China has done wonders in a short period with their so called "modified" communism.
India will be better off if the Govt has a stronger hand in introducing social reforms.

that's what i'm saying...
Singapore and China was reached to top only through socialist policies...

but India form was not like that of China and Singapore..

it was form in which our country was not allowing foregin technologies to be introduced in India due to the fear of foreign invasion.

we repeated the very same mistake we did long before due to which british were able to conquer us. ...I.e. not
knowing what is happening in the whole world and running the country...how ever it was.

There are pros and cons in everything. Under the socialist policies the infrastructures can be developed so as to open up the country. But China's one child policy is also not humane. However, as the literacy rate goes up families tend to be smaller especially in urban locations.
In India even the legal system takes too long and there are several inefficiencies. Too many lawyers setting up too many policies also cause the economy to shrink.
Best maybe for India to modify its current system rather than adopting wholesale.

Grass is always greener on the other sides. Indians are sick of being drained by the government that they want corporations to suck their blood dry. Americans are sick of being drained by the corporations and government to want to find a better alternative to suck their blood dry.

Ultimately, someone will have our blood. I do not think there really are any sparkly vampires to make the task pleasant.

china opted one child policy and we had emergency in our country....which was more humilating?
as infrastucture is always the responsibilty of the state...
u can better tell me PPP private public parternership is better option or not to speed up the task ...
😃and as far as pros and cons are considered...i agree with u...
but marks only comes when u make a thing look evil or beautiful....not being a judge.😉
