Loving how they did NOT show Akbar as an out and out villain but showed that he is an affectionate father who is restricted from showing his love bcos of his emperor wala status. That shows us Akbar is a more positive light than I expected and I welcome that. What I don;t like is the out and out vamp characters in the begums but well, it is fictionalized, after all, so I am just glad they did say that they will take creative liberty.
Hey Jalk, glad to see you here. 😃 . Seeing Akbar reminded me of Amir Khan from Dangal. There is a scene in that movie where he says that he cannot be both a "father and a "coach to the girls at the same time. And that the "father has to take a back seat when he is training them as a "coach. Akbar had to constantly see Salim as the next Mughal emperor and had to prepare him for that. And he constantly had to put his father role on the back burner for that.
I agree that they have completely fictionalized the story with vamps and conspiracies. But hopefully they will not go over the top with too much melodrama. 😆 .
