'I'd love to dance on Mom's Slumdog number'
Despite a consistent performance on the show Ishita Arun and her partner got eliminated from Dancing Queen. On an exclusive Buzz18.com chat Ishta talks to her fans about her eviction from the show and future plans.
Suranjana Nandi asks: Do you think your elimination was justified?
Ans:Hi all. I feel when I had first auditioned, I had not thought I would reach so far. So, when i was eliminated, I thanked God that I reached so far - the Top Four of Dancing Queen.

Ans:hi there.
somebody else asks: how was it being on the show? Anjali how is it dancing with Ishita? How is she as a mentor?
Ans:enjoyed the show a lot. I was apprehensive how would people behave with me because of my background. But right from the technicians to the Colors top brass, all treated me well. I felt so happy. i'm grateful for life to Colors and Sol. About Ishita, she is very good-natured and frank. A very good human being. A guru who helped her chela understand the world and taught her a lot of things about it. I felt like she was my older sister. She has helped me on a personal level, just like my parents would have.
suniti asks: Anjali, do you want to participate in more reality shows?
Ans:I have one or two offers. But it's not confirmed. But I'd like to do it for a better future.
brangelina asks: why did yiou want to be a dancer Anjali?
Ans:Dancing is my hobby.

brangelina asks: so what all did you learn from Ishita?
Ans:I learned all the things which I couldn't learn as a child - how a girl should behave, live her life, especially in the field of entertainment. The one thing she taught me - if you have faith in yourself, you can do anything

Ans:I like mobile phones and cameras. Thanks for the compliment.
brangelina asks: Anjali who was your favourite dancer on the show?
Ans:Sanobar and Sambhavana. Whoever works hard, will win.
hee asks: I think your pair rocked. So how did you manage to have such great chemistry?
Ans:I think we managed to have great chemistry becos on one side, Anjali is a very good dancer and very willing to learn, and on the other hand, I was very eager to impart whatever knowledge I have gathered in so many years to her.
hee asks: Made any friends among the other contestants in the show?
Ans:Yeah, Shveta Salve, Anita, Meghna Naidu, Dipsshikha, Shweta Menon.
hee asks: Any offers from Bollywood?
Ans:Well, not as of now But hopefully in the future.
Suranjana Nandi asks: What song from SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE do you think you would have performed, if given a chance.
Ans:We already performed Saaya. But given a chance, I would've lived to perform on my mother's song Ringa Ring Ringa.
somebody else asks: do you plan to do more shows or try ur luck in television soaps etc? Anjali?
Ans:Ishita: Yes, I definitely plan to do more shows, but more than that, I want to get Anjali settled.

Ans:Women should never dance to anyone's tunes, in any case.
brangelina asks: So what kind of a future would you want or are ideally looking for?
Ans:Happy and bright.

Ans:I've already acted in one - with Priyadarshan.

Ans:No. Not as of now.

Ans:No, never.

Ans:Where do I get the money to pay them?

Ans:I would love to act in one.
Reuben Mathias asks: Ishita, when Anjali made mistakes did you scold her? How do you think you should treat your juniors without intimidating them?
Ans:I first decided to cajole her and talk to her nicely. Then, when she forgets her steps, I shout on her. The third time if she forgets, I lose my temper completely. But on the day of her performance, I congratulate her however her performance has been.

Ans:Hopefully Delhi.
Shilpa Doke asks: Why were you eliminated?
Ans:In our pair, my aspirant gives me a run for my money. It was the only pair where both mentor and aspirant were equally strong. I dunno why were eliminated. Even though it's a surprise to me, we were a very powerful team.
hee asks: Both of you dance really well. So what else do you love doing?
Ans: Anjali: I love acting. I want to pursue that.
Ishita: I like doing theatre, acting, writing.
hee asks: Who do you think will win Dancing Queen?
Ans:In the contestants, it's Sonali. Ideally, Anjali should've won.
hee asks: how did you like being on the show? Was sambhavana rude to you too?
Ans:No comments on the show. I think I had a great time in the show. I learnt a lot. i've done so many dance forms in three months that I didn't do in three years. Goodbye all. Please keep logging on to the site!
