Can I begin with how high I am riding right now with all the expectations this season brings with it?
Be it Raghav's comedy, Remo's ideas, Shakti's comments, Punit's emotions or Dharmesh's creativity.
I will be honest, the episode was a little rukha-sukha but I guess auditions always are like this. A little fast-forwarded so we hardly get a glimpse of what we'll be witnessing this time. Even then, those little bits of their performances left me wanting more.
The show began with (obviously) Raghav's cockroach comedy 😆
*Murmuring*Ultimate Padosiii ;)
Then the captains had an argument' about who gets to present the first performance for the season and PP takes the chance. He introduces us to a wonderful crew, House of Cards... Wait was if House of Suraj.. Yes it was 😆
Even though I'll say the performance wasn't how D+ usually entertains me, but I will be lying if I don't appreciate them. Their synchronization was of another level. Even in those whackiest parts (pun very much intended), they put up something so co-ordinated, I was awestruck.
With a little more dose of Raghav, we saw Shakti shaking a leg (or hands) and we know why Shakti is Shakti.
Back to that, I couldn't catch on to all the names but I know we have Nostalgia crew, two duos and another crew (I would be extremely thankful if you could help me with the names.)
The Aerial duo was amazing because yes, the D+ stage hasn't actually seen aerial performances as much as I remember. The CYR Ring something duo left me wide eyed :P
Nostalgia was like 3 Sushant Khatri but they busted some fantabulous moves right there.
Beer Radha Shepa was like my Wild Ripperz all compiled into one. I'll agree with the Capt. because he did all of it so effortlessly and with such flow ❤️
And now coming to the highlight of the season: The International Dance Champions, huh?
(Thumbs up to Raghav because of the bgm he gave whilst Remo announced the pattern for the season. 🤣
Fik-Shun, Dytto, Paul.. Wait, I am sorry I couldn't catch all those names (yet again) But oh please! I am sure those are amazing because I saw their glimpses. We have latin, animation, Pandit Birju Maharaj's group, hip hop. What do you even need any more?!
I am sure it's going to be a very fierce competition this time.
Also, because I am me, I won't sign off without complaining a bit.
The episode wasn't as exciting even though it was (I hope you guys get what I mean), and it looked really scripted. Even the Capts' reactions when Remo announced his plans for the season. Could they tone down the scripting a bit, please? 🤔
I am sure it will pick pace once the auditions are done with and we finally will see the Top 8 for the season. Or maybe the pattern would change because International Dancers as competitors you know 😆
Who are you guys rooting for, this season? What are you looking forward to?
