Dr Gandhi? No...Dancer Gandhi. To a lot of people there may be a lot of things wrong with the phrase 'dancer.' With a family that has a background of doctors, a dancer doesn't stand out too well. Urvashi hails from a family of doctors. Urvashi is studying psychology currently. But she decided she wanted to bring out the dancing talent in her. Born on February 27th, Urvashi has loved to art of dancing. She is currently assisting Dance India Dance Season 1 fame, Jai Kumar Nair and she regards him as her dancing guru. :)
Urvashi has never let go of her talent. Hailing from a family of doctors, it was never easy for her to venture out of that and do something of her own. But with making it onto the top 18 of DID Season 3 she has proven to her family that a dancer can come just as much ahead as a doctor. Here's wishing this beautiful dancer all the best in her life. Whether she goes far in the competition or not hardly matters because making it this far is in itself a huge accomplishment to be proud of!
