I like the way you presented your post. So am not going to criticize your line of thought, because it is neither ridiculous, nor downright insulting like some of the "members' " ones here are!
But I've got to comment on a few things I beg to differ from. By huge miles indeed!
1. Just like you can say the undeserving contestant won, we can say the DESERVING contestant won. You cannot put a 'period' there just to state it as an absolute fact. Because in your opinion she wasn't deserving, does NOT mean she wasn't. She's won by far the most performance of the day awards, she's won the performance of the season award, she's won Remo's heart not being in his team, got the MJ band, she's NEVER had a weak performance whilst ALL the other contestants have had one or numerous weak performances. So, please, don't go labeling a contestant as undeserving unless you CAN backup your opinion by some valid proof of why you say it. Moreover, do NOT please bring up the versatility point. The last few weeks have proven well and hard who's versatile and who's not, even in classical forms.
2. NO and Yes. I do not believe Dharmesh has been treated unfairly. What I do believe is that all the others have been treated unfairly in front of him. If unfair treatment had not been made, Amar would still be in the show, so would have Kruti remained till the finale. Dharmesh has been, by far, the ONLY contestant who's had the MOST stage time, most drama, and most time to "connect" to the audience. If they (creatives) or they (audience), either system you believe in, STILL think he does NOT deserve to win, they're only ever right!
One more thing. Salman's win was still unexpected last year. Mayuresh had topped him much better and by far more votes I presume, than Dharmesh has had over Shakti. In Janta ki Kasauti, Salman had had to nearly go once. How do you explain HIS win then? I think it's only fair to say that if it was rigged this season, it was last season 2. Also, either way, as much as I may try and prove otherwise since I don't like Salman one bit, but the fact remains that he was the winner.
The fact remains that Shakti IS the winner. Period! And I backed up ALL my arguments!
1. First of all, "Performance of the Day" awards are given to duets/trios. Not just one person. So it takes the whole team to dance well to win the award, along with some great choreography. Shakti had better chemistry with her teammates, and had the best choreographer on her side. Not only that, they were usually doing contemporary in those performances, and it's easier to do contemporary in trios/duos than it is Hip-Hop. So she had a huge advantage over Dharmesh when it came to winning performance of the week awards. They don't give those awards to solo performances.
But at the end, we were picking who was the best single dancer, not who did the best with their team (Shakti and her "Performance of the Week Awards").
Bottomline, I don't think that those awards are that relevant. Shakti was usually doing contemporary anyways while winning those awards, Dharmesh and his group usually did not do Hip-Hop in trios/duets.
2. Shakti never had a weak performance? 😆
After she was told to try something new, she had weeks of weak performance.
Since you said never, I'll give you one, her Hip-Hop with Jack. She was told that she needs to work harder, and Jack totally over shadowed her. She was told that she was not strong and things along those lines.
3. What are you talking about with Salman? Mayuresh was out and finished 7th or 8th. Dharmesh beat Shakti way more times than Salman beat Mayuresh.
And plus, I didn't even say it was rigged!
